Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Team Lead

About the role

Randstad Defence is supporting a sovereign defence technology company based in Canberra, which is looking for an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Team Lead. The role supports the coordination and delivery of all ILS requirements for the company's Australian Defence projects and other projects as required.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, capture and allocate all project logistics requirements to the appropriate resources.
• Review and update ILS technical documents as needed, such as integrated support plans, codification data and technical data lists.
• Manage the delivery of logistics requirements for the allocated project and work with the customer to achieve customer acceptance.
• Carry out product support analysis techniques such as FMECA, LORA, RCM and LSAR to ensure effective product support throughout the lifecycle.
• Liaise with stakeholders in the Commonwealth (CoA) on ILS-related activities.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline and/or ILS-related qualifications.
• Ideally 3+ years of experience leading an ILS team in a defence environment.
• Understanding of the defence systems engineering lifecycle and how logistics engineering fits within it.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility for a baseline security clearance as a minimum.
