About the role
Amazon is seeking a motivated Instock Manager to join its Global Direct Imports team. The role focuses on purchasing, inventory planning and forecasting for multiple emerging markets, driving initiatives that improve customer experience across retail, supply chain and operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage availability and inventory health, including in‑stock rates, vendor lead times, fill rates, unhealthy inventory and forecast accuracy.
- Develop data‑driven solutions to complex supply‑chain challenges.
- Create and run buying and forecasting scenarios to support continuous improvement.
- Lead automation programs and system development for imports in emerging countries.
- Act as an internal consultant to vendors, improving their operational performance.
- Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with partnered vendors to grow the import business.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering results through cross‑functional partnership.
- Strong analytical acumen and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
- Track record of successful project delivery and business judgment.
