Insolvency & Restructuring Supervisor / Assistant Manager - Brisbane

About the role

We are seeking an Insolvency & Restructuring Supervisor / Assistant Manager to join our Brisbane team. You will work closely with senior leadership, manage a portfolio of insolvency and restructuring matters, and mentor junior staff while developing your own career.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day management of small to medium insolvency and restructuring appointments, including investigations, creditor reporting, and regular updates to senior managers.
• Participate actively in larger, complex matters, conducting detailed investigations, financial analysis, and supporting public examinations, recoveries and litigation.
• Proactively manage workflow and priorities across multiple client matters and guide junior team members.
• Communicate directly with external stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional interaction.
• Contribute to the development of practice systems, processes, and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Experience in insolvency, restructuring, or related legal practice at a supervisory or assistant‑manager level.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Commitment to high ethical standards and a strong work ethic.
