Infrastructure & Systems Engineer

About the role

Join a global technology team as an Infrastructure & Systems Engineer based in Sydney. You will own the design, deployment and support of critical IT infrastructure for our Australian and New Zealand offices, working both independently and with global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain and optimise servers, networks, storage, backups and endpoint devices.
• Manage Microsoft Intune policies and Microsoft 365 configuration.
• Support Azure resources and broader cloud infrastructure.
• Configure firewalls, VPNs and WAN connectivity (preferably Fortinet).
• Provide escalation‑level support for critical incidents.
• Troubleshoot Windows Server, VMware, file servers and Teams Phones.
• Collaborate on infrastructure projects with the global IT team.
• Ensure systems are secure, well‑documented and follow best practices.
• Occasionally work outside standard hours for upgrades or urgent tasks.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in IT support, systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi‑site team.
• Strong organisational and proactive mindset.
• Full working rights in Australia and based on‑site in Sydney.
