Infrastructure & Systems Administrator

About the role

Buildsafe is seeking an Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to join its IT team. Reporting to the CIO and working alongside a Senior Infrastructure Administrator, you will help design, deploy and maintain the platforms that power both Buildsafe and its BuildCam product.

Key responsibilities

• Build, deploy and maintain enterprise server, storage and network infrastructure.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, IIS and Microsoft 365.
• Deploy and manage Docker containers and hosted applications.
• Monitor performance, security, backups and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Configure and support switches, firewalls, VPNs and other networking equipment.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and support branch deployments.
• Contribute to automation, documentation and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Permanent working rights in Australia.
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure or systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise server hardware and NAS/storage platforms.
• Solid networking background (switches, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls).
• Passion for AI, automation and continuous improvement.
