Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on IT Infrastructure Specialist to own and optimise our core technology environment. This generalist position spans servers, networks, cloud platforms, security, and end‑user systems, ensuring reliable and secure operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, networking equipment and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Ensure system uptime, performance and reliability across the environment.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory and related services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and network issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
• Implement security controls, backups and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on infrastructure projects.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and escalation for complex technical problems.

Required profile

• Experience as a System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer or IT Generalist.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work across multiple technologies.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls.
• Cloud platforms – Azure (preferred), AWS, GCP.
• Virtualisation: VMware, Hyper‑V.
• Security best practices, backup and disaster‑recovery.
• Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune or other endpoint management.
• Exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, scripting and automation.
