Inclusive Education Teacher

About the role

The Inclusive Education Teacher supports classroom teachers across St Mary MacKillop College in delivering differentiated, high‑quality learning for students of all abilities. Working closely with Inclusive Education Coordinators and Classroom Support Assistants, you will apply strong pedagogical expertise to create an inclusive environment while also teaching within your subject area.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers, coordinators and support assistants to meet diverse student needs.
• Design and deliver differentiated instruction that challenges and engages learners of varying abilities.
• Analyse student learning data to inform instructional decisions and maximise growth.
• Teach curriculum content aligned with your subject expertise.
• Contribute to a respectful, trusting classroom culture and school‑wide inclusive practices.

Required profile

• Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Full‑time availability.
• Demonstrated expertise in inclusive education and differentiated teaching.
• Excellent written communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and collaborative teamwork.
