Inbound Sales Advisor

About the role

A fantastic opportunity to join a successful SME with a creative, positive and growth‑oriented culture. Based on the outskirts of York, the role requires on‑site presence and reliable transport. You will work with a high volume of warm leads and help convert enquiries into sales.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on 700+ warm leads each week – no cold calling.
• Sell the company’s products and services, respond to initial quote requests and proactively chase leads.
• Engage prospects via phone, email and messaging platforms to convert enquiries.
• Take a consultative sales approach, understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Book and manage showroom appointments, meet customers and assist in designing ideal solutions.
• Deliver expert, high‑quality in‑person sales experiences to scheduled appointments and walk‑in visitors.
• Build strong customer relationships to foster trust and generate referrals.
• Conduct follow‑ups such as email enquiries, quote chases, measurement updates, welcome calls and design appointment confirmations.
• Respond to trade enquiries and support professionals and businesses sourcing the right solutions.
• Maintain trade account relationships to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns, promotions and sales initiatives.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, results‑driven sales professional with a strong desire to succeed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with customers.
• Confidence in telesales, face‑to‑face sales and digital engagement tools.
• Proactive, organised and persistent approach to lead management and follow‑ups.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and exceeding targets.

Required skills

What we offer

• £30,000 basic salary plus a turnover bonus structure (£50,000–£100,000 OTE).
• Working pattern: Monday to Saturday, five days a week with a day off during the week (two Saturdays off per month).
• One late shift per week (11:30 am – 8:00 pm) worked from home.
