In-Home Care & Support Professional (Central Coast)

About the role

A caring and dedicated person is sought to join an expanding team in the Illawarra region, covering Upper Central Coast (Wamberal, Wyong and surrounds) and Lower Central Coast (Umina Beach, Wyong and surrounds). The role supports elderly clients to live safely, independently and comfortably in their own homes, improving their wellbeing, confidence and quality of life through personalised, client-focused care.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients to maintain independence at home
• Provide companionship and social engagement
• Assist with transport, shopping and community participation
• Deliver personal care with dignity and respect
• Help with light household tasks and meal preparation

Required profile

• Casual role with flexible weekday shifts (Monday to Friday, about 7:00am to 3:00pm) and a minimum availability of 2 days per week
• Kind, empathetic and compassionate approach (essential)
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and grow, strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Aged Care or Disability (highly regarded); nursing students encouraged to apply
• Experience in community aged care preferred
• Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Current (or willingness to obtain) First Aid & CPR certification, Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check
