Import Operator

About the role

Candii, an independent freight forwarder with more than 30 years in the business, is hiring an Import Operator. You will take control of import shipments from departure through to final delivery, keeping everything moving and customers informed. The role works closely with the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage air and sea import shipments end to end
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, overseas agents and service providers
• Track shipments and give proactive updates
• Maintain files and shipment details in CargoWise

Required profile

• Import operations experience within freight forwarding
• Good knowledge of both air and sea freight
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Confident working independently and making decisions
• National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one

Required skills

• CargoWise experience is highly regarded
