ICT Support Engineer (IT Support Engineer)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive ICT Support Engineer to deliver high‑quality technical assistance to our clients. You will work both on‑site and remotely, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure client computer systems.
• Respond promptly to client IT support requests.
• Meet with clients to diagnose software, networking, or hardware problems.
• Provide technical support on‑site or via remote‑access tools.
• Offer tailored solutions that meet client needs.
• Repair hardware malfunctions, resolve software issues, and troubleshoot networking problems.
• Maintain good client relations and communication.
• Track and manage work records, compile job reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a technical support engineer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think critically and troubleshoot complex issues.

Required skills

• Knowledge of web services, APIs, and IP‑based protocols.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Shell.
• Understanding of computer hardware and networking systems.
