Hydraulic Service Technician – FIFO Shutdowns

About the role

Hydraulink is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Service Technician to join its FIFO team for shutdown projects. You will work on hose assembly, removal and fitting for a range of MEM equipment across multiple mine sites.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate, install and service fluid‑power hose assemblies on‑site.
• Remove, replace and fit hoses according to technical specifications.
• Maintain a high level of safety compliance and champion site safety protocols.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure timely completion of shutdown tasks.
• Document work performed and report any issues to supervisors.

Required profile

• Relevant mechanical trade qualification or completion of unit AURTTA012.
• Proven experience in hose manufacturing, fitting or related hydraulic work.
• Impeccable safety record and willingness to uphold site safety standards.
• Valid C‑class driver’s licence; LR licence is desirable.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction.
