Human Resources Manager – Corporate and Project Operations

About the role

Lead strategic and operational people outcomes across corporate functions and Victorian infrastructure projects from a Melbourne office. You will partner with executives and project leaders throughout the employee lifecycle, reporting to senior HR leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercially informed HR advice to corporate teams and project operations.
• Lead workforce planning, organisation design, mobilisation and resourcing inputs to tenders.
• Manage complex employee and industrial relations, award compliance and policy matters.
• Act as the senior HR contact for Victorian delivery teams and regional sites.
• Guide performance cycles, succession, talent development and remuneration benchmarking.
• Deliver learning initiatives and inclusive people practices.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in HR, Industrial Relations, Business or a related discipline.
• At least eight years of progressive HR experience, including senior HR business partner or HR manager roles in construction, engineering or infrastructure.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, modern awards and workplace compliance.
• Experience in bid resourcing, workforce planning and project mobilisation/demobilisation.
