Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing agribusiness and food production team. Reporting directly to the CEO and Board, you will provide high‑quality HR support while leading workplace health and safety initiatives across all operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, inductions and the full employee lifecycle.
• Provide HR advice and support to managers, employees and contractors.
• Coordinate international workforce and visa programs, including PALM, DAMA and skilled migration pathways.
• Support payroll processing, award interpretation and compliance requirements.
• Organise training, performance reviews and employee development initiatives.
• Lead workplace health and safety programs, audits and compliance activities.
• Manage workers compensation and return‑to‑work programs.
• Maintain HR records, reporting, policies and employment documentation.
• Conduct regular site and farm visits to support operational teams.

Required profile

• Desirable exposure to international workforce and migration programs.
• Experience working with culturally diverse teams.
• Background in Human Resources and/or Workplace Health & Safety within agriculture, manufacturing, food production or related industries.
• Knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards, workplace investigations and payroll compliance.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience managing workers compensation and return‑to‑work processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities with attention to detail.
