Human Resources Business Partner (Parental Leave Coverage)

About the role

Sandvik is seeking an experienced and practical Human Resources Business Partner with strong employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) skills to join its team on a fixed-term contract covering parental leave, from December 2026 until March 2028. The role reports to the Senior HR Business Partner and sits within Sandvik Rock Processing Australia in Jandakot, Perth. Candidates must be able to secure valid work rights for employment in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all ER/IR matters, including investigations, grievances and case management
• Advise leaders on performance, conduct and workplace issues
• Advise on Enterprise Agreements, Awards and employment law
• Coordinate employee representative meetings and consultation
• Help implement Sandvik's ER/IR framework in 2027

Required profile

• Experience as a HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or ER/IR specialist
• Strong employee relations and industrial relations capability
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex cases
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements
• Experience supporting HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement
