Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

CVS Group Australia, which provides integrated veterinary healthcare through clinics and animal hospitals across Australia, is creating a new HR Business Partner role. It is a fully remote position based in Sydney, NSW, reporting to the Head of HR Australia. The role blends business partnering, HR lifecycle best practice and employee experience, and is open to candidates with generalist HR experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build stakeholder relationships with Regional Directors, Clinic leaders and the Support Office, giving timely and accurate advice.
• Design, create and implement HR projects that set up foundational systems and processes for the employee lifecycle.
• Coach and mentor leaders to build high-performing teams.
• Provide industrial relations advice and help shape compliant, best-practice HR ways of working.
• Create policies and procedures based on knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Analyse eNPS insights to help clinics drive engagement, culture, inclusion and continuous improvement.
• Support the integration of new clinics and the upskilling of clinic leaders, travelling interstate as required.

Required profile

• Values-driven, caring and adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced startup environment with high ambiguity.
• Demonstrated partnering experience in a P&C/HR Business Partner role.
• Experience in a shared services model in a startup or high-growth acquisition environment.
• Ability to create positive working relationships and influence across a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as operationally required and for team development.
