HSEQ Manager – Weekly Travel to Site

About the role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to join its Perth‑based team on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role involves weekly travel to remote sites, supporting safety culture, compliance and continuous improvement across our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a strong safety culture and deliver behavioural safety programs.
• Ensure consistent application of HSEQ systems and compliance with WHS, ISO, client and company standards.
• Lead risk assessments, audits and critical control processes for high‑risk activities.
• Oversee incident reporting, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as the primary HSEQ contact for clients, site leadership and service partners.
• Lead HSEQ requirements for new site mobilisations and support business growth projects.
• Deliver HSEQ training, monitor workforce competency and ensure compliance.
• Monitor HSEQ performance, analyse trends and provide insights to leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior HSE/HSEQ role, preferably in remote or resource environments.
• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and ISO standards.
• Experience conducting audits, risk management and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and travel regularly to remote locations.
