HSE Training Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an HSE Training Specialist to join Primero’s Perth corporate team. Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will lead the design, delivery and compliance of mandatory safety training across our construction and mining projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs that meet regulatory and organisational HSE requirements.
• Create, deliver and maintain engaging training materials for diverse audiences.
• Improve tracking and reporting processes for training compliance and provide regular performance updates.
• Monitor employee participation, identify gaps and ensure continuous improvement of training effectiveness.
• Lead and mentor training professionals and coach project leaders on training obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction or mining operations.
• Relevant training and assessment qualification (TAE40122 or equivalent).
• High proficiency with training databases and content creation tools.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities in complex stakeholder environments.
