HSE Manager - Data Centre Project

About the role

Built is recruiting an HSE Manager for one of Australia's largest data centre developments at Marsden Park. As the project moves into a phase with new buildings starting across the precinct, you will lead safety on a complex, fast-paced construction site, working closely with project teams and subcontractors to manage risk, strengthen safety performance and build a positive site culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead risk management, investigations, audits and assurance activities across site operations
• Embed Built's HSE framework and ensure effective implementation of project safety plans
• Manage subcontractor engagement and safety performance across a large, complex project
• Build strong working relationships with project teams and key stakeholders
• Drive continual improvement through learning, reporting and proactive hazard management

Required profile

• HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering or another high-risk industry
• Demonstrated experience on large-scale or technically complex projects
• Experience managing subcontractor performance and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to coach, influence and engage stakeholders from frontline teams to senior leadership
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, risk management and incident investigation
• A practical, adaptable and solutions-focused approach to safety leadership
