HSE Advisor – FIFO (2:1) – Brisbane

About the role

Sodexo is seeking a passionate HSE Advisor to support site operations in Queensland on a FIFO schedule (14 days on, 7 days off). Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will lead incident investigations and drive safety initiatives across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive incident investigations and support the injury management process.
• Administer inductions, competency assessments and develop pre‑task risk assessments.
• Lead toolbox meetings and promote company and client‑driven HSE programs.
• Support staff compliance with HACCP and Food Safety plans and deliver related training.

Required profile

• Qualification in Health and Safety (mandatory) and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and relevant training.
• Australian citizenship or full working rights and a current full manual driver’s licence.
• Ability to undergo pre‑employment medical, drug & alcohol testing and police check.

Required skills

• HACCP and Food Safety plan implementation.

• Computer literacy for HSE reporting tools.
