HR Superintendent - Three Month FIFO Contract

About the role

An experienced HR Superintendent or Senior HR Advisor with strong mining experience is sought for a three-month contract on a FIFO 8/6 roster, based in Perth. As the standalone HR representative on site, you will be the key point of contact for leaders on all people matters, combining hands-on HR support with practical business partnering while working independently and with support from the corporate HR team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical, timely HR advice and support to site leaders across the employee lifecycle
• Manage employee relations matters, helping leaders handle issues fairly and consistently
• Partner with leaders to understand operational priorities and deliver people-focused solutions
• Coordinate and deliver cyclical HR activities on site in line with corporate processes and timelines
• Coach and support leaders in managing people matters and applying HR policies and procedures
• Work closely with the corporate HR team, drawing on specialist support and escalating matters as required

Required profile

• Experienced HR Superintendent or Senior HR Advisor with sound judgement and a practical approach
• Relevant HR experience in the mining industry, ideally with significant site-based HR exposure
• Ability to manage competing priorities and give clear, commercially minded advice
• Strong relationship building and communication skills, with the confidence to coach and influence leaders
• Hands-on approach, able to act as the standalone HR contact on site
• Availability to undertake a three-month contract on a FIFO 8/6 roster
