HR Services Team Leader

About the role

Veolia is looking for an HR Services Team Leader to join its National HR Team, leading a team of HR Coordinators across multiple locations. The role ensures efficient delivery of employee lifecycle activities and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders. It is open to candidates based in Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of HR Coordinators working across multiple locations
• Oversee a high-volume ServiceNow queue, triage and allocate requests, balance workloads, monitor progress and escalate issues
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding and employee changes
• Maintain accurate employee and position data in SuccessFactors and ensure records are handled appropriately
• Build working relationships with HRBPs, business managers, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and IT
• Monitor service performance against KPIs and SLAs (monthly reporting), identify recurring issues and bottlenecks and drive process improvements
• Set clear expectations, support team performance and development and promote consistent, customer-focused service

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or equivalent experience
• Proven team leadership experience
• Track record of achieving KPIs in customer service
• Knowledge of Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards

Required skills

• Experience using HR systems and case-management or ticketing tools; SuccessFactors and ServiceNow experience is highly desirable
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Demonstrated process improvement capabilities
