HR Partner – Builder Experience Team (ANZ)

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking an experienced HR Partner to join its Builder Experience Team (BeXT) supporting the ANZ region. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and builders, handling complex people matters and driving culture insights across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and consult leaders on performance management, talent reviews, retention, and people development.
• Manage employee‑relations cases end‑to‑end, including workplace investigations.
• Provide high‑judgement guidance in ambiguous and sensitive situations.
• Champion inclusion, culture sentiment, and the overall leader experience.
• Influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Promote self‑service adoption and reduce transactional workload.
• Mentor HR professionals and contribute to global projects.

Required profile

• 5+ years of HR generalist or HR Business Partner experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with high judgement, ownership, and autonomy.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills with experience influencing senior executives.
• Proven experience in employee relations, including handling difficult situations.
