HR Manager – Industrial Factory

About the role

Lactalis Australia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join its team at the Industrial Factory in Harvey, partnering with leaders and employees across the Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale sites. Reporting to the Site Manager with a dotted line to the Head of HR - Industrial, the role delivers HR and industrial relations solutions that drive business performance and align with Lactalis values. It is a full-time, permanent business partnering position covering the employee lifecycle, strategic HR initiatives, employee relations and industrial negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all HR processes and initiatives across the Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale sites
• Act as the first point of contact for HR, employee relations and industrial relations matters
• Coach and support leaders on performance management and employee relations
• Lead Enterprise Agreement negotiations and union engagement
• Liaise with Fair Work and other external stakeholders on industrial matters
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, talent and succession planning
• Work with Learning & Development to plan, budget and track training needs
• Develop and implement communication, cultural and employee engagement initiatives

Required profile

• Hands-on HR professional with strong ER and IR expertise, enjoying partnership with operational leaders
• Experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner role
• Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations and industrial relations matters
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements
• Stakeholder management, coaching and negotiation skills
