HR Driver – Medical Waste Delivery

About the role

A recruitment agency is hiring HR drivers urgently in Yatala to work for Australia's largest waste management, recycling and resource recovery company. The client collects, processes, treats and safely disposes of waste for households, councils, businesses and industry, aiming to reduce landfill waste. This is a casual position paid $39.89 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Lift and move heavy medical waste bins up to 30kg
• Deliver medical waste bins to healthcare facilities and collection points on assigned routes and schedules
• Load and unload bins efficiently onto and from the delivery vehicle
• Provide good customer service during deliveries
• Follow safety procedures and protocols
• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors and others about deliveries, delays or issues

Required profile

• HR Driver licence and reliable transport
• Forklift licence highly desirable; previous delivery driver experience highly desirable
• Physically fit to lift and move bins up to 30kg
• Reliable, with good communication skills
• Able to pass a police check and a drug and alcohol screening
• Willing to complete Hep A and Hep B vaccinations
• Starts between 12am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, with no fixed start time
