HR Driver – Heavy Rigid Trucks (Perth)

About the role

Team Global Express is looking for an experienced HR Driver to join its freight team operating from Perth Airport. You will operate 3‑axle heavy rigid trucks (GVM over 8 tonnes) to deliver palletised freight across the Perth metropolitan and industrial areas, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Operate HR vehicles safely across Perth metro routes.
• Deliver and pick up palletised freight to and from customers.
• Manoeuvre in tight access and loading dock environments.
• Ensure on‑time deliveries in line with daily run sheets.
• Complete pre‑start checks and comply with transport safety requirements.
• Maintain professional customer service on delivery.

Required profile

• Valid HR licence (mandatory).
• Experience driving heavy rigid trucks in metro or similar environments.
• Strong spatial awareness and reversing capability.
• Ability to work early starts (05:30 am–06:30 am) with variable finish times.
• Reliable, safety‑focused and able to work independently.
