HR Business Partner

About the role

This newly created HR Business Partner role offers a unique opportunity to influence the next phase of growth for a leading global automation and technology business. Reporting to the HR Director ANZ, you will partner with leaders across Projects, Service and Operations to anticipate workforce challenges and translate strategy into people outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver HR strategy and workforce plans aligned to business priorities.
• Partner with leaders on organisation design, effectiveness and change.
• Lead workforce strategies for critical skills, succession and capability.
• Strengthen leadership capability through coaching and development.
• Develop and execute proactive industrial relations and employee relations strategies.
• Provide trusted advice on complex performance and organisational matters.
• Support workforce mobilisation and transition for projects.
• Use workforce data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support development of capability, career and remuneration frameworks.
• Collaborate with Centres of Excellence and the broader ANZ HR team.

Required profile

• Significant HR Business Partner experience (10–20 years), ideally senior level.
• Experience in a complex operational environment such as engineering, manufacturing or logistics.
• Strong industrial relations and employee relations capability.
• Proven ability to coach, influence and challenge leaders.
• Strong judgement, resilience and commercial perspective.
