HR Advisor

About the role

Amana Living is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide human‑centred advice across the employee lifecycle. In this hands‑on position you will partner with managers and employees to ensure fair, consistent people decisions and compliance with legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, practical HR advice on employee relations, industrial relations, policies and people processes.
• Coach managers to build capability and confidently manage day‑to‑day people matters.
• Identify sensitive, complex or high‑risk matters and escalate appropriately.
• Prepare accurate employment documentation, correspondence and HR records.
• Support consistent, timely processes across the employee lifecycle and partner with HR Business Partners, Payroll and the wider People and Culture team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an HR advisory or generalist role, supporting employee and industrial relations matters.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and ability to interpret industrial instruments.
• Clear communication, influencing skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong judgement, problem‑solving, research and investigation abilities.
• Attention to detail in maintaining HR documentation, records and data.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
