Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a casual, organised Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the newly transformed Novotel, Mercure and ibis Darwin Airport Resorts. Working closely with the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Executive Housekeeper, you will help maintain exceptional cleanliness standards and deliver high‑quality guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the housekeeping team during daily operations.
• Conduct room inspections to ensure brand and cleanliness standards are met.
• Promptly action guest requests and special requirements.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or faulty equipment and follow up on outstanding tasks.
• Assist in creating a positive and productive team environment.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with WHS procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Independent, initiative‑taking attitude and good communication skills in English.
• Flexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Well‑presented, physically capable of manual tasks and holding full working rights in Australia.
