About the role

Estia Health Yarra Valley, an aged-care home with mountain views on a quiet residential street near Yarra Junction, is looking for experienced Housekeepers (Cleaners/Laundry Attendants) to join on a permanent part-time or casual basis. The home is part of a network of 96 homes across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the home clean, hygienic and safe every day for residents.
• Deliver to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, improving the presentation and service of the home.
• Work as part of a team of aged-care professionals.
• Auditing and site inspections are used to maintain hygiene standards and support operational excellence.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail, since health and hygiene standards are critical.
• Commitment to Work, Health and Safety principles.
• Positive, warm, empathetic and can-do attitude.
• Ability to implement and manage a hygiene maintenance system through audits and inspections.
