Hospitality Leadership Roles – Shift & Team Management

About the role

Kalis Group is seeking experienced hospitality leaders to join its venues across Hobart. Whether you have worked as a Supervisor, Duty Manager, Assistant Venue Manager or Venue Manager, you will help run successful shifts and build teams people love to work with.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and roster teams to deliver outstanding service each shift.
• Oversee front‑of‑house, bar, gaming and back‑of‑house operations.
• Manage stock, cellar and POS systems, controlling wastage and maintaining healthy margins.
• Address customer and guest concerns professionally under pressure.
• Contribute to roster planning, wage cost control, recruitment and onboarding.
• Maintain venue presentation and operational standards.
• Uphold liquor licensing, RSA/RCG and company compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supervisory or managerial hospitality roles.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Commitment to honesty, integrity and community values.
• Desire to grow personally and contribute to venue success.
