Hospital Pharmacist – Grade 1/2 (Bega, NSW)

About the role

Join the South East Regional Hospital in Bega as a Hospital Pharmacist (Grade 1/2). You will be a key medication expert delivering comprehensive pharmacy services to patients across the Southern NSW Local Health District.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a full range of pharmacy services, including dispensing, clinical review and medication counselling.
• Apply clinical pharmacy expertise to support multidisciplinary teams and improve patient outcomes.
• Prioritise and manage your own caseload, ensuring safe and effective medication use.
• Contribute to sustainable healthcare initiatives and support the district’s zero‑harm goals.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award 2017.

Required profile

• Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.
• For Grade 2, at least three years of post‑registration hospital pharmacy experience and competency in essential criteria.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical pharmacy, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
