High Reach Forklift Operator (Temporary)

About the role

Chandler Macleod is recruiting Forklift Operators for its client's distribution centre in Hazelmere. The successful candidate operates a high reach forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count merchandise, supporting the daily flow of receiving, storing and shipping goods so orders are fulfilled on time. The start date is immediate. Two positions are offered: a High Reach Forklift Operator and a Forklift Operator with twin tyne experience.

Key responsibilities

• Operate high reach forklifts safely and efficiently
• Pick and replenish stock in high racking
• Load and unload trucks and stage stock
• Handle large or awkward pallet loads with precision
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required

Required profile

• Valid LF Forklift Licence
• Proven experience operating high reach forklifts (Crown, Toyota or similar)
• Demonstrated experience using twin tyne forklifts for palletised goods and bulk load handling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to work autonomously and in a team
