Heavy Diesel Mechanic (HD Fitter) - Queensland Site

About the role

BTP is looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic / HD Fitter to join its site team in Queensland, reporting to the Shift Supervisor. The role covers preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and component changeouts on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment across the project site.

Required profile

• Australian recognised Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant trade qualification
• Experience working on Caterpillar or similar mining equipment
• Sound knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and drivetrain systems
• Good people and time management skills
• Valid Australian driver's licence; HR driver's licence highly regarded
• Ability to meet site access requirements, including Coal Board medical and Standard 11 where required
• Preferred: Working at Heights and confined space HRWL, and a dogging licence
