Stone Factory Labourer

About the role

A growing stone manufacturer in Meadowbrook, Brisbane, is looking for a Stone Factory Labourer. This is presented as a genuine entry point into the stone trade, with training on CNC machines available to anyone who wants it. No stone experience is needed; reliability, a good hand and a willingness to learn are enough.

Key responsibilities

• Move, handle and store stone slabs safely with the factory team
• Keep the factory floor, machines and work areas clean and tidy
• Load and unload slabs and finished benchtops
• Assist machine operators and fabricators on the production line
• Learn to set up and run CNC machines over time
• Follow silica-safety and OH&S procedures at all times

Required profile

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Comfortable with physical work and heavy lifting
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communication and a team-first attitude
• Safety-conscious with silica controls
• No stone experience required; training provided
