Health Manager 3 – Community Mental Health Team Manager

About the role

The Health Manager 3 will lead a multidisciplinary Community Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol team in Temora, delivering recovery‑focused services to regional populations. You will shape service delivery, drive innovation and ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care across youth, adult, older‑person, CAMHS, Aboriginal health and peer‑support programs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for community mental health and drug & alcohol services.
• Manage staffing functions including recruitment, onboarding, rostering, performance development and staff wellbeing.
• Oversee clinical governance, patient safety, quality improvement initiatives and compliance with standards and legislation.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders, health services, community organisations and stakeholders to strengthen service integration.
• Monitor service performance, financial targets and reporting requirements, ensuring objectives are met within budget.
• Lead change initiatives, implement new models of care and drive continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Australian working rights.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary health teams, preferably in mental health or drug & alcohol services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, performance metrics and quality improvement.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaborative skills.
