Health and Physical Education Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic educator to deliver engaging Health and Physical Education programmes for Prep‑12 students, fostering a love of physical activity, healthy living and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Health and Physical Education lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
• Create an inclusive, supportive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement.
• Promote physical fitness, teamwork, resilience and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Contribute to the college’s sporting programs, carnivals and extracurricular activities.
• Support and model the Christian ethos and values of the college.

Required profile

• Recognised teaching qualification and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Evidence of right to work in Australia and a valid Working with Children Check.
• Commitment to Christian faith and willingness to share it.
• High expectations for academic and behavioural outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to relate well to staff, students and parents.
