Head of Procurement

About the role

Reporting to the GM of Supply and Operations, the Head of Procurement will lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing, procurement, contracting and supply management to deliver commercial benefits for 7‑Eleven.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute an organisational procurement strategy across Goods for Resale (GFR) and Goods not for Resale (GNFR).
• Develop innovative procurement solutions at project, category and enterprise levels.
• Implement systems and processes for high‑quality market research and analysis.
• Work closely with stakeholders to manage commercial, contractual, financial and supply‑chain risks.
• Lead and manage the Procurement team and cross‑functional groups to deliver high‑quality advice and service.

Required profile

• Over 10 years of sourcing/procurement experience.
• Proven experience in contract management, cost management, category management, strategic sourcing, project and risk management.
• Experience developing and rolling out procurement policies and frameworks organisation‑wide.
• Previous leadership experience managing a team.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or related discipline.
