About the role

As Head of Procurement you will set the strategic direction for all non‑stock procurement, maximising value while minimising risk. You will lead a high‑performing team and partner with senior leaders to drive smarter sourcing, strong governance, and impactful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a forward‑looking procurement strategy aligned to business goals.
• Build and inspire a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and value delivery.
• Drive cost efficiencies and long‑term value through high‑impact sourcing, negotiation and disciplined financial management.
• Strengthen procurement frameworks and governance to ensure compliance, transparency and continuous improvement.
• Lead category and supplier strategies across diverse portfolios to enable innovation and resilient partnerships.
• Elevate procurement capability through insight, technology and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven success leading procurement in complex, multi‑category environments.
• Strong commercial instincts with ability to balance cost, value, risk and innovation.
• Deep end‑to‑end procurement expertise across sourcing, contracts, supplier management and transformation.
• Experience driving organisational change and uplifting procurement maturity.
• Confidence to engage senior leaders with a partnership‑led style.
• Passion for challenging the status quo and driving better ways of working.
