Head of Operations

About the role

PeopleSense by Altius is seeking a Head of Operations to lead national operational performance and scalability of its psychological services. You will ensure services are delivered efficiently, predictably, and in line with contractual and organisational commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Translate strategy into national operating plans, capacity models and service level agreements.
• Own utilisation targets, performance dashboards and operational rhythms.
• Oversee national intake, scheduling, administration and billing functions.
• Optimise practice management and scheduling systems, ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Drive standardisation, automation and continuous improvement across operations.
• Maintain national operational compliance frameworks and partner with clinical leadership on governance.
• Lead audits, quality assurance and escalation mechanisms.
• Lead national change initiatives, transformation projects and capability building.
• Collaborate with Finance, People & Culture, IT, Sales and Marketing.

Required profile

• Execution‑focused senior leader thriving in complex, multi‑site environments.
• Senior leadership experience in health, psychology or professional services operations.
• Strong background in utilisation, capacity planning and SLA management.
• Advanced data literacy and operational reporting capability.
• Proven experience leading national administration or service delivery teams.
• Demonstrated change leadership in complex, multi‑site settings.
