About the role

Lead the Interest Rate Derivatives business for MUFG across Oceania, shaping product strategy and driving growth for corporate and institutional clients. You will manage a Sydney‑based team, mentor talent, and ensure superior customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategy and business plans for interest rate derivatives, meeting financial and non‑financial targets.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of interest‑rate professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Promote and sell interest‑rate derivative solutions to existing and new corporate/institutional clients.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and internal stakeholders to drive revenue growth and compliance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in corporate or institutional interest‑rate roles with a proven revenue record.
• Strong relationships with senior‑level clients and internal stakeholders.
• AFMA certification or equivalent professional qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
