Head of Human Resources

About the role

We are partnering with a high‑growth international organisation to appoint a Head of Human Resources in Sydney. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team, shaping people strategy and driving organisational capability across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and Executive Team on people strategy and organisational growth.
• Lead all HR functions, including Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Performance Management and HR Operations.
• Develop and implement HR strategy, governance frameworks and workforce planning initiatives.
• Manage complex employee‑relations matters and provide commercial, risk‑based advice.
• Drive organisational design, succession planning, leadership development and culture initiatives.
• Oversee remuneration, performance, talent management and HR compliance.
• Build and lead a high‑performing HR team while creating scalable processes to support growth.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership of an HR function.
• Previous role as Head of HR, HR Director, Senior HR Business Partner or equivalent.
• Strong expertise in Employee Relations, HR Governance, Performance Management and HR Strategy.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, Trading or Professional Services is highly regarded.
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence executive leaders.
• Commercial acumen, strategic thinking and a hands‑on leadership style.
