Head of Facilities Management

About the role

The Head of Facilities Management will lead a national team responsible for the maintenance, compliance and strategic development of a retail and commercial property portfolio. Based in Sydney, this senior position oversees all aspects of facilities, capital works and tenancy delivery across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for facilities management, capital works and fit‑out delivery across the portfolio.
• Accountable for governance, planning and delivery of tenancy fit‑outs and capital projects, ensuring coordination between landlord and tenant activities.
• Lead and develop the Facilities Management team, conducting performance reviews and fostering professional growth.
• Develop and implement best‑practice frameworks, policies and controls for FM, capital works and tenancy delivery.
• Implement the tenancy delivery strategy to optimise trade‑ready timelines.
• Offer strategic direction and oversight to Asset teams to ensure consistent execution, effective stakeholder management and strong commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in multi‑site facilities management.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing large teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience delivering and planning capital works and tenancy fit‑outs.
