HC Truck and Dog Driver (Concrete and Civil Construction)

About the role

WorkPac is recruiting a reliable and competent HC Truck and Dog Driver in Bohle, Townsville, to transport soil, gravel and spoil for local concrete and civil construction projects. The position is casual, paid $41.00 per hour plus penalties, on a Monday to Friday roster, with an immediate start available from 3 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a truck and dog combination to transport bulk materials.
• Safely load, transport and tip soil, gravel and spoil.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Ensure loads are secure and handled safely.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained.
• Follow all site safety procedures and road regulations.

Required profile

• Current HC drivers licence (mandatory).
• Construction white card (mandatory).
• Confidence and competency operating a truck and dog combination.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
