Hardware Engineer – Fixed-Term (Full-Time)

About the role

Valeo is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join its R&D team on a fixed‑term basis. You will contribute to the design, integration and validation of hardware blocks for innovative mobility solutions, ensuring compliance with internal and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform activities in line with the Engineering Discipline Development Plan and internal standards.
• Lead robust design and validation tasks while meeting economic targets.
• Support technical architecture, standards assignments and follow standardisation rules.
• Participate in internal and supplier design reviews.
• Execute design simulations, coding, calculations (worst‑case, statistical) and thermal studies.
• Conduct engineering tests and manage follow‑up activities.
• Report progress, escalate risks and ensure documentation compliance.

Required profile

• Engineering or R&D background, preferably in hardware development.
• Ability to work on full or partial design, integration and validation of hardware products.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
