Gymnastics Coach - Expression of Interest

About the role

PCYC Queensland is seeking passionate gymnastics coaches (or those who would like to become one) for its 26 clubs across the state. The role suits people who believe in fun-first gymnastics, enjoy smaller class sizes and want to help every child feel welcome. Candidates apply through the PCYC careers page; shortlisting begins immediately and the advertisement may close early.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive gymnastics programs for all ages
• Help develop junior staff and build a strong, supportive coaching team
• Contribute to promoting and growing the gymnastics programs
• Keep equipment well maintained and safe for participants

Required profile

• Grade 2 (Intermediate): minimum Intermediate Coaching Accreditation and current Gymnastics Australia / Gymnastics Queensland technical membership
• Grade 3 (Advanced): minimum Advanced Coaching Accreditation (excluding KinderGym) and current technical membership
• Supervisor certificate desirable
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain it
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and a National Police check on commencement
