Guest Service Agent (Parental Leave Cover)

About the role

Sofitel Adelaide is hiring a Guest Service Agent to cover parental leave, on a 12-month fixed-term contract starting in December 2026. The role goes beyond check-in and check-out: you welcome each new and returning guest with personalised and attentive care, share your knowledge of the region and anticipate guest needs so they feel genuinely special.

Required profile

• A service-focused personality able to connect with guests through storytelling and by anticipating their needs
• Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and public holidays
• Must hold Responsible Service of Alcohol certification or be willing to obtain it
• Only applicants currently located in Australia with full Australian working rights will be considered

Required skills

• Prior experience with Opera Cloud or a similar Property Management System
• An unrestricted full driver's licence is an advantage, with confidence driving both automatic and manual cars
