Guest Experience Host & Lead Generator

About the role

Join the Port Douglas team as a Guest Experience Host & Lead Generator, where you will be the first point of contact for owners and guests, delivering exceptional service while creating sales opportunities for our resort sales centres.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, register and provide information to owners and guests.
• Share local area attractions and complete all related paperwork.
• Use telephones, fax and computers to communicate effectively.
• Assist in the tour generation process, ensuring prospects meet qualification criteria.
• Meet guests face‑to‑face and generate sales appointments for resort sales centres and livestream sessions.
• Build rapport, articulate the benefits of Travel + Leisure’s community and meet targets/KPIs.
• Collaborate with resort operations to ensure seamless check‑in experiences.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar hotel or guest‑service role.
• Passion for customer service and knowledge of the local area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, positive attitude with immaculate presentation.
• High computer literacy and problem‑solving ability.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, public and school holidays.

Required skills

• Experience with property management systems such as Hirum, Fidelio or Opera.
