About the role

As a Guest Experience Ambassador at Sheraton Sydney, you will be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring every interaction exceeds expectations. You will combine in‑depth knowledge of the hotel and local attractions with personalized service to create memorable stays.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, and handle all front‑desk enquiries.
• Provide tailored recommendations on local events, attractions, and amenities.
• Coordinate special requests such as transportation, reservations, and dry‑cleaning, liaising with relevant departments.
• Activate lobby outlet services (restaurant, bar, business centre, lounge) to enhance the guest experience.
• Resolve guest issues by contacting bell staff, housekeeping, or food‑and‑beverage teams as needed.
• Maintain safety standards, report incidents, and complete required training.
• Uphold professional appearance, confidentiality, and company policies at all times.
• Assist guests with disabilities and ensure accessibility throughout the property.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the hotel facilities and surrounding Sydney area.
• Excellent communication skills with a courteous, professional demeanor.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with new and returning guests.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Commitment to teamwork and supporting colleagues to achieve common goals.
