Group Accountant – Manufacturing

About the role

An established Western Australian manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will deliver accurate financial reporting, support business performance and contribute to the success of a diverse manufacturing operation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
• Manage group consolidations and financial reporting requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory obligations.
• Support external audits and taxation requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide commercial insights.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification (or nearing completion).
• Previous experience in a Group Accountant, Senior Financial Accountant or similar role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Experience within manufacturing or a complex commercial environment (highly regarded).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
• Proactive and solutions‑focused approach.
